Never had a smart phone/ppc before and seem to have narrowed it down to the 2 above models.

I had actually decided upon the mini s (sort of) as in the o2 comparison list it seemed more fully featured (albeit crappy camera etc) however, after reading reviews of the mini s elsewhere, and reading a few threads on here about the orbit it would seem the orbit is in fact the way to go?

Would you guys be able to give me a list of pros and cons in trying to choose between these two phones?

Or even better, your experiences of said phones (obviously for those of you who have owned either, or better still, both?)

Orbit negative - no keyboard, a bit slower than the S

Orbit positives - push email, size, good as a phone, good radio, sat nav

Mini S negative - I found it very poor as a phone; bulky

Both do not have 3G which would be on my wanted list.


Go for the Orbit or a Blackberry Pearl with £10 unlimited data account. Excellent all rounder but no radio but fast data download.
