Orbit Power Problem

I ahve the O2 Orbit - on my 2nd one.

The first had a power problem - the phone was on but the sreen was not. This happended after a couple of weeks.

This has happended again on my replacement Orbit (just once) - when I soft reset it was OK. But now concerned it will happen again and get worse just like the 1st phone.

Anybody else had such problems?

Re: Orbit Power Problem

No power issues to date, I'll keep a lookout though and get back to you if I spot anything.

Re: Orbit Power Problem

I'm pretty impressed with the battery life, usually get 4 days out of it and that can include a couple of trips using CoPilot.

In saying that I migrated from a P910i and it's battery life was poor indeed. One TomTom session, after that and you definitely needed a recharge at your destination.

Re: Orbit Power Problem

4 Days - thats fantastic.

I have only a couple of days maximum. And that's not with heavy usage.

Likewise here. 2 days max but that's probably with moderate usage.

Re: Orbit Power Problem

Normal usage for me is a few texts, a call every couple of days, as I mentioned earlier perhaps CoPilot a couple of times.

Re: Orbit Power Problem

I haven't had any problems with the screen being off whilst the phone is on. Unless of course its in standby Battery life is great aswell as I dont really have to think about charging it as it just charges in the car. Top phone
