Best phone for 150-200 pounds?

Hey guys.

I'm looking to upgrade my woeful Sagem MYX-10 phone (currently on orange) to something more modern. Ive got a budget of 150-250 pounds and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for more top of the range phones.

Some of the features that id like would be

Cheap international calls if possible.
Highest/best megapixel camera possible. Video messaging, sound recording.
3g if possible.
Bluetooth.

I Don't really need mp3 though because I've already got a sleek Ipod for that. But any help would be appreciated.

If you want cheap international calls then you need to look at the operator first and phone second, although with that much money you could go up to a Nokia N93 or Sony Ericsson K800I which are high mid range phones full of features.
Both have great camera's, the K800 has a proper flash and is better at photo's, the Nokia has an LED fladh and is better at video's and is a smart phone.
I'm not sure who is the cheapest for international call's though. I can't see it being too cheap on pay as you go.

pay as you go preferably.

the k800i does look pretty good tbh. I assume that 3.2 mega pixels is the current limit?.

Yeah 3.2 is around the current norm, Nokia are launching the N95 with a 5 megapixel camera around next Feb I think. In the Far East Samsung have 10 megapixel camera phones, doubt they'll appear here soon though.
If you like the candy bar form then look at the K800I and the N73 as sudgested. I have heard the N73's screen is fragile but their seem to be plenty of happy owners so this may be false.

Try E2Save, Carphone Warehouse, Phones4U, The Link, websites. Or pop into an Orange shop as they will more likely have stock then the Orange website.

Re: Best phone for 150-200 pounds?

If its on payg, you won't get an N73 under 200 notes. You can get K800s for that price .... on EBay. Not from the high street.

Do you need 3G? If not, then save a few quid, and get a K750. The camera is about as good as you will get at 2mp, the autofocus is pretty good, and battery life is excellent.

If you can get something on contract, thats another matter entirely. You'll have much better options for international calling, and possibly get much better deals on the handsets (ie. a K800 or N73 for nothing).

Wander round your local CPW/Voda/Orange/O2/T-mob stores, pick up their brochures and check out the international call prices.

My N73 is definitely not fragile. Only had it a few months, its been dropped a few times, and still works as good as ever.
