Pocket PC Sat Nav

I have an MDA Vario and would like to install bluetooth Sat Nav.

Is Tomtom 6 the best option? (I need European maps).

Where is the best deal?

Also, where do I get a cradle?

Re: Pocket PC Sat Nav

Can't comment on any other satnav software but TTN6 is great on my M3100 which I believe is the same type of PPC

See my post about car mounting in this forum fo more info on cradles etc!

Re: Pocket PC Sat Nav

For cradles try www.handnav.co.uk. Brodit holders and proclip mounts are expensive but about the best i've found.

Re: Pocket PC Sat Nav

I agree regarding the Brodit holders and proclip mounts. They're expensive, but there's no guesswork involved since you know in advance that they will fit both vehicle and mobile device.

Re: Pocket PC Sat Nav

OK, it's just that I have a vario to use but it may be handy to load it on my phone as well so that I can use either.

I guess your saying, technically yes, legally no.....

I have TomTom Navigator 5 and you are allowed to activate it twice, so you can have a back up copy on another unit. Would imagine Navigator 6 would be the same but I'd check with TomTom
