Re: D900 Vs W850i

Dont have a D900 but own an w850i for the past 2 weeks very very impressed by the software and the sound quality on it - menus very simple to use. Does not freeze up like my old Nokia either! D900 is much thinner though but the 850 feels like it is bulit to last. lots of gizmos available to connect it to your home stereo as well but currently I just use the 3.5mm jack bit unnerving though when you get a call though and half the house can hear it!!!

Re: D900 Vs W850i

On a K750i now and similarly quandry about whether to upgrade or not.
Wouldn't consider anything other than Sony-Ericsson (have hated all the Motorola interfaces I've seen, even though handsets look cool, Nokia's just look boring, plus only ever had good experiences with SE), so that pretty much leaves me currently with k800 or w850i. Put off the K800 by what I reckon is a flimsy lens cover and it's square design. w850 would be cool, but it doesn't have a xenon flash (actually quite useful) or auto focus. Other than that it's a cool phone.
Methinks wait a little longer for.

Re: D900 Vs W850i

Mostly comes down to what you want. I'm going to get the D900 as I want a slim phone that looks really good. I have a mp3 player and digital camera so theres no point spending money on those features.

Looked at the SE and to be honest it what a bit of a brick compared to the D900. The SE might have a better camera and mp3 player but it loses on looks and feel of the samsung.
