Can it be unlocked yet?

I know it couldn't be unlocked on 3 originally but wondering if it can only reason is I travel abroad and have sim cards for the different countries I go to if I'm going to be there a while. So its handy for me to be able to switch the sims.

If it can where can I get it done? Does it need to be taken to a shop cable used etc or can I do it myself with codes etc.

£40 too much then. Think I'll go for my other option then get a second phone and just take that when I go abroad.

Anyone know of any 12 month free deals? You know like 12 months free line rental I'm not bothered about the sim etc just want the phone.
