K800i Un-branding and re-branding to different network

Hey guys.

Here is my situation:
I have a k800i which was originally on t-mobile but I've phoned them up and I got the unlock code and it is now unlocked to all networks.

The reason I unlocked it is because I want to use my new t-mobile contract on my old phone and my Vodafone sim on my new k800i. I can now do this. However, I use all the Vodafone Live! stuff and so on which i cannot get with the pre-loaded t-mobile firmware. Is there anyway to unbrand it from t-mobile and then rebrand it to vodafone? If so, then how do I go about doing this? And where can I download the vodafone firmware?

Thanks in advance.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers.

Do you know which one it would be? I'm given a list of about 4 or 5.

If I unbrand it totally and then just get the vodafone settings though then surely it doesn't matter if I don't have Vodafone firmware..?

Re: K800i Un-branding and re-branding to different network

Hi.
I had a similar problem, I think, with a K750i.
I bought an O2 unlocked and put my vodafone sim into it.
Phonecalls worked okay but all the services, mms, etc were set to O2.
If you go onto the sony ericsson web site it allows you to download the correct settings for your model of phone directly onto your phone.
You will have to download the mms settings, internet settings, etc all seperately but it only takes a few minutes.
I think this is what you are looking for. Hope it works.

Re: K800i Un-branding and re-branding to different network

Under enterntaiment, at least on the K750i, there is a new option marked vodafone.
This lets you access things like services&help, Find&seek, Chat&Fun and so on.
I don't know if this is vodafone live or not.
I have sent pictures to vodafone live though, and then accessed them through my pc.
Also I can now access the internet option on the phone and get access to the vodafone website from there.

Hmm ok...

Vodafone Live is an entirely different service to what you are talking about, but thank you anyway- your help is greatly appreciated :].
