Re: K800i , how BIG?

In your pocket? Yes

Embarassed? No.

It's slightly too big for my liking. Much prefer the size of the W810i, but in no way is it oversized or laughably big.

Theres the measurements then just go down to a phoneshop such as link or phones4u and they'll no doubt have them on display

Re: K800i , how BIG?

It's not too bad. I had thought it was too chunky but after loking at it and a few other phones yesterday I'm now pretty happy with the size of the K800i. It's pretty similar to the Nokia N73 if you've seen that.

Doesnt sound unhelpful to me different people will have a different idea of whats big and whats not.

Like Throttle said your best bet will be to go down to a phoneshop have a look at it have a play with it and see what you think. Will probably get you further than slating people who are trying to help you.

Re: K800i , how BIG?

Yes, rather then try and visualize it, why not visit a shop and take a look at one, every phone shop has a dummy of it now, phones4u, carphone warehouse, the link etc.
It's not too big if you ask me, just s bit bigger then the K750I, it has a metal front and feels VERY solidly built. If it's too big then get the W850I when it's out, it's SE's first slider phone with the same UI and features as a K800I but has a 2MP non autofocus camera and the latest Walkman software:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...=pp1&pid=10447

I'm split between a P990I and a K800I and a couple of others, but I wouldn't dream of buying a phone of the net without seeing it first which is why I haven't upgraded yet, waiting for them to be released on the networks so I can check out the size etc in a shop first, although you can send the phone back within 7 day's of reciept if you don't like it under UK law.

K800 is the one on the left. You must have seen a K750 before. If not where have you been! Get down to a phone shop now!!

If you haven't seen a K750i before then how about a Nokia 3310? K800 is a bit smaller than a Nokia 3310

Re: K800i , how BIG?

and to be fair, most of us don't want to go to the shop.

I mean, have you _done retail_ lately?

Carving your way passed chavs, lunatic mothers with pushchairs, crying babies, chewing gum on the pavement, insane car parking charges, spotty sales people who know less about a product than a pet gerbil.

<<shiver>>

I'll conduct my business online thank you very much.
/me strokes nice Mr Courier
