help D900 or N80

Hopefully somone can help me out here. I have had enough of my N80 on three. The battery life is terrible and I cant get used to the size of it. Does anyone know if a sim free D900 would work on three, if not can my n80 be unlocked as it would be easier to sell and use the cash to buy out the remaining contract and get a new one elsewhere.

If anyone has a D900 would be grateful for any pro's and con's before I get one

had both of them phones, n80 to big, d900 ok but really thin and long again equals big.

now have the nokia n73 and am really happy with it.

The D900 wont work on 3 as its not a 3g handset and whilst some 2g handsets are known to work on 3, the D900 isnt one of them. In any case, if 3 find you using a 2G handset they can kick you off. You might be better of trying to find a 6233 or unlocked 6234.

Also what about the Sony Ericsson K800I? Brilliant handset IMO. Or the K610I for compact size.

i've always found Samsung phones boring, the menus are very limited i think you're paying for the look of the phone rather than what it can do. Used to have nokia's allthe time, but now i have a k800i i ain't budging from SE for a while!

Thanks for the help guys, I try and get a look at the SE options in-store, it don't look like samsung will be doing anything on 3, even though the D900 is going to be available as 3g.

Whats the best way to sell the N80, the wife just had a bad experience on ebay so dont really want to use them. Any ideas

I would reformat the memory card several times to delete data and also hard reset the phone several times, there are programmes available on bittorrent that can access data on formatted phones and cards.
I would then sell the phone on Ebay and state that the item will NOT be shipped until payment has been recieved in FULL, also only use paypal.
That's what I do and haven't had a problem yet....touch wood.
