Can I do this

I can upgrade my phone now if I want to but I'm happy with my 750i at the moment. Can I upgrade then sell on the new phone.Is it legal?

Of course you can, you don't rent the phone it is yours. However you'll obviously be locked into another contract for 12/18 months.

I've done it plenty of times when i've got bored of my phones a couple of months down the line.

best bet is to obviously upgrade to the most expensive phone you can, any of the brand new well known phones are good. i did this and upgraded to a k800i for free, specifically as i knew it sold well (although when i got it i really was tempted to keep it!!) i sold it for £245 on ebay, which was lovely.

phones like the new nokias, new sony ericssons etc always seem to sell well. have a look at handset only prices, then deduct say 20-40%, and that'll give you some idea of what to aim for.
