K800i 1Gb = how many songs?

With a 1 gb card in, how many minuets of music would this work out to?, also if you store fewer pictures does this mean you can store more music and vice versa?
Thanks.

all depends on what quality the songs are encoded at

the higher quality the songs are encoded at (ie better sound) then the more space they will take up, hence you can fit less songs into your 1GB card

the same is true with pictures... the larger the picture and the higher the resolution, the more space it will take up

A typical 5 minutes CD-quality MP3 takes about 5 MB, i.e., an MB per minute. 1 GB is 1024 MB. If you have not stored anything else in your memory then you can easily store about 1000 minutes (~16 hrs) of music. Check the free memory available in your phone and equate each MB to a minute. Easy!

HTH.
