well as a rule your going to have to go on an 18 month contract and there will be no free or money off line rental.

and also about the texts on the £30 contract - it says that *500 texts for the 1st 18 months of the contract..is that right?

Time for a new phone and contract. Looking for a good deal with worthwhile free gift, advice welcome please?

There was a similar thread on www.hotukdeals.com. The concensus was that most xbox360 /psp/free gifts deals were a rip off (old phones 18months etc), and that you were better off with 12months contract and cashback.

The only issue is if the company fail to fulfill the cashback, even those who send recorded delivery sometimes miss out. The other option is to get the very latest phone free, and pay the full 12months contract price, selling the phone each year, and repeating the process (slightly more expensive, but no risk).

Thats the case mostly, but you can still get a good deal.

Dialaphone had the best comparative offer the other day for the w810i. (although checking back today they've stopped the deal)

18 months contract admittidly, but at £35p/m 600 mins 100 txts on O2 with both the phone and xbox 360 free. This equals to the cashback version of the deal which gives back £200.

Then on top of this, taking out the deal through Quidco (Dialaphone = £50) then selling your old mobile through Envirofone (my V6 was worth £45), and your starting to look at a cheap way to get a 360 without having to save up or wait...
