Re: N80, how to receive my hotmail on phone

Unfortunately, Hotmail and Yahoo dont use POP3 or IMAP which are the two common ones that most email clients use to view the email, this means that you cant set your phone to recieve them via the messaging program in your phone.

Currently the only way to access both of these services are by using the web interfaces and neither of these providers are going to enable POP3 or IMAP (in the forseeable future) as this is how they make their money by services like Outlook Live.

As for your O2 account, I would suggest you call O2 directly and they will be able to give you the settings over the phone or send them to you.

There is only one way you could get hotmail or yahoo on your phone, once you have your O2 mail set up you can use a service called "GetMail." This will divert your messages to your O2 or any email account. The only problem with this is that you can end up with copies of messages everywhere.

Re: N80, how to receive my hotmail on phone

In fact, you can get Hotmail to your N80. There is a service provider named IZYMAIL who will provide the appropriate incoming/outgoing connection for you. There is a small annual fee, don't quote me but between 10-15 Gbp.

I use it on my N73 and it works a treat!

find them at http://v3.izymail.com/
