what memory card for this phone?

hi!

i am going to be getting the nokia 6230i and it has a mmc memory card expansion slot, and i have read on another website that it will only except nokias on mmc memory cards is this true? and what mmc cards can i with this phone for example can i use play.coms own mmc cards?

I tried play.com mmc cards in a few of my old nokia 6230's (not i) and it kinda worked

It was a bit hit-and-miss sometimes it didnt detect the card after the phone had been restarted. Sometimes it wouldnt copy to/from the mmc card things like videos etc. If you search the web you should be able to find a list of card brands that are tested as working 100%. As i recall Kingston are fine, and Viking i think

Bascially do a web search and you should find it...

hiya, go to www.emartbuy.co.uk, they have a memory finder on there, and their cards are very reasonably priced. Just had a quick look for ya (I'm nice like that

) and you do need an MMC, Adata 512mb = £19.39 and 1gb =£25.85. Hope this helps!
