Do we know for sure if the K800 will be on 3

Hi

Do we know for sure if the K800i will be available on the 3 network?

If so any idea when?

Rich

I saw on the SE website that the K800i will be available on 3g networks, but will be known as the k790i instead, but the handset has now been taken off.

SE have some other nice 3g phones coming out soon though.

Just saved me a phonecall to o2. i'm Currently on o2 with a k750, my years up and im waiting for the k800, which in my oppinion is the only phone worth upgrading to. I have a funny feeling it'll be a rediculous price for the upgrade at which point i'll just get my pac code and go to vodaphone.

My only concern is, the 18 month contracts the seem to be putting on these latest phones...

I'm an existing customer & they've pre ordered it for me, they've marked the offer down on my account & i have to ring back next week (27th).
£69.99 and had my online offpeak tariff reduced from £20pm to £15

Stayed on 12 month contract too.

I got a letter in fro o2 today, "Free Upgrade or £100 Credit Plus 50% extra minutes and texts"

SO the k800 is due in on the 26th to O2, so i may phone and chance my luck.

In the letter it says this..

"If you want the new handset, you can choose from a range of models - you'll find four of them in the enclosed leaflet"

Does that read, you have a choice of these 4 or, these four are available, plus many more?

Just ordered mine from CPW, free, on 12 months, 8 months half price at £35 per month. Would normally wait to see it in the flesh but I want a decent camera phone asap and found the N80 a little to bulky for my liking. Cant be doing waiting for the 5mp LG which is out in a few months time I think. Will probably regret not waiting though...

Personally i wouldn't regret not waiting for an LG, imo SE makes the best, feature packed, easiest phones to use on the market at the minute, they beat even Nokia. A 5mp cam in a phone is gonna be nowhere near as good as a real 5mp camera simply due to the size of the lense. At least the K800's camera is a cybershot with a carl zeiss lens, again probably not as good as a real camera but lets face it if you're gonna go somewhere that needs plenty of pics taking, you're gonna take a propar digicam ... at least i would.
