Resetting a MPX200

Resetting a MPX200
I want to give my nephew my old Motorola MPX200 but before this I want to clear it and re-install the latest software (Windows Mobile 2003 disk I have)

The phone was on Orange but is currently unlocked.

Will the above operation re-lock it or will it stay unlocked ?
