o2 xda mini s gps

hi does anyone know how i can get gps on my xda mini s? its basically a imate k-jam i think . ive been told by someone in o2 that none of the sat navs they have will work because my phone takes a mini sd card and they come with a different type of card (not sure what maybe normal sd) BUT couldnt i just buy the system and install software onto my mini sd card? its only a card so should work right? help needed urgent going on a lovely 3hour drive and would be sooo much easier if i didnt have to keep checking maps

Can you not transfer the software from sd to mini sd????

Indeed, just copy the SDcard data to your PC then copy it back to MiniSD

XDA Mini S runs TomTom 5.21 fine

silly o2!
as uridium states simply copy it over matey, besides ud be silly to use origional tomtom card any how as the storage of it means theres none left for u, plus i prefer to have the origional safe at home.
get yourself a 1gb/2gb card ul be laughing, tomtom and still plenty of space!
