mobile phone car navigation

I was originally thinking of buying a car navigation device and was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice on which mobile phone with car navigation built in was best, i saw one made by tom tom but it wasnt clear if you was buying an actual phone or something that goes into a phone.

benefit is however when u sell ur phone u can reuse the software and receiver so long as ur new phone is compatiable

I'm thinking of getting Tom Tom for my Fiancee's Nokia.

She currently has a Tom Tom Go & a cradle in her car. Last week some fecker smashed the 1/4 windows, stole the cradle but couldn't find the TTG as it was hidden in a cubby (it's a Renault Scenic).

They couldn't get in the car as the doors were deadlocked, but they figured if there was a cradle stuck to the windscreen there must be a TTG in the glovebox (a fair assumption really).

So I'm thinking of the Tom Tom GPS pack: http://www.tomtom.com/products/produ...208&Language=1

She currently has a 6230, & is looking to upgrading at somepoint to an N80.

All thought/opinions welcome as always!

Got all the safety cameras intalled loads of maps etc.. As good as the real thing. You'll proberbly find some good deals on a 6680 at the moment. I got mine from ebuyer sim free.
