mobile email help (again LOL)

do you keep gprs connected all the time- i presume if you do it only charges you for data received & sent and not for checking email boxes? also when i click send it doesnt seem to send it automatically, i have to a manual send/receive on my xda mini :-(

That is the same way mine work on my M600. You can set your outlook to connect however often you want.
