I had my pda set up to overwrite the pc when it synched. Ive just bought an mda and had to set up a new relationship but it wont give me the option to do this - it just wants the computer to overwrite the mda HELP!!!!!

When you first setup the partnership it usually asks what you want to sync. Untick all the boxes so no data is transferred to your new PDA. When you get the Activesync window up click on 'Options' and then on the Rules tab, you can choose from here whether the data remains unresolved or PC or PDA take preference.
