treo 650 which deal?

Been trying to upgrade on orange but deals seem very poor compared to their own new customer deals (they want £130, when all their new deals offer phone for £80 reagardless of tariff, I asked if they could deal and they said no), and especially to other online deals, so told them to give me a PAC code. Now looking at other operators, there does not seem to be much choice. Best I have seen is O2, £35 a mnth for 250 Xnet mins plus 50 txts (doubled for 3 months) and phone for £40. Need to keep monthly bill below that really.
Its the treo I really want, as already have palm tx, so just want my contacts and diary on phone, plus a few other palm based bits (main reason for not using PPC).

Went for vodafone in the end. Deal was phone for £60, £35 pcm contract, half price for 6 mnths (18 month contract), 275 Xnet mins, plus Stop the clock. Seemed like the best deal I could find. Sim PS For some reason Im going to need to add a text bundle through vodafone, which is a bit annoying, but ther you go.

Its a shame you couldn't get any resolve out of Orange. This is my second year on Orange. Having come from Australia where the upgraders get better deals than new customers (usually), I threatened Orange that I was leaving. They gave me the Treo 650 for free, 320 minutes and 100 text messages for £30 a month. I was happy with that. The only thing I wish they could in the UK is bundle data packages as well.

The only way to deal Orange is to threaten to leave and ask to be put through to 'disconnection' as they have more power than the first point of contact to upgrade and do deals. Funny way to do business, but once you know the ropes Orange are no worse than the others!
