Advice please on these 2.....

Hi,

I'm a loyal Orange contract customer and due for upgrade, I'm stuck between these two phones - please help:

SE k750i
SE w810i

A mate has the 750i and I really like it but I've not seen an 810i yet. Does it have the flash light the same as the 750i?

Any advice please?

Hi

I have a K750 and a W810 both on Orange. I have only had the W810 for a few days so have not really had much time to see what it can do. However in my case the screen on the W810 is clearer and brighter than the K750. There is a space between each key on the W810 were the keys are next to each other on the K750. Also the edges on the W810 are more rounded than the K750. The W810 is quad band, which is good to have if you travel much in the States. The K750 is tri band so will work in most places including most of the USA. Just the W810 will let you roam more networks and areas.

The W810 does not have the joystick thing. This seams to give trouble on other SE phones including the K750.

The other thing that I have noticed when on my w810 is when you look at a WAP site; you get more of the text on the screen at once. And the typeface is different. Both the K750 and W810 have the flashlight.

However as the K750 has been in production for a while you will get the most up to date software. So any problems you might get with a new phone should be ironed out.

If you are going for the K750 you should upgrade soon, the current Orange brochure says that its available while stocks last.
