With some networks you can not upgrade you handset until you have compleated your contract time. However you can give notice that you want to end your contract on the 11th month. My question is at what point will O2 give me my pac code. mid october when my contract ends or mid september when i can give notice? Rich

They'll give you it any time you want. If you're still in contract you'll have to pay it off though. A PAC code is valid for 30 days so work out the last day you need to give notice to end the contract and get the PAC code at the same time.
