Can a ringtone/photo be assigned to a contact number on either of these pda phones

I have an Orange M500 at the mo and thats based on the first JAM and I can do what you ask, therefore I guess it should be do-able but it may depend on the software.
Check out http://www.clubimate.com/t-tutorials.aspx there may be something there.

On the JAM there is an app. called caller_ID_magician which is the app. for adding photos etc. to contacts, this is installed from the extended rom after a reset etc. It will need to be installed manually if want to rid yourself of the branding by bypassing extended rom install on a e.g. MDA Compact.
