What phone to get?

i dont know if it's a good idea putting this in here, but i wated some opinions on a new phone.

I currently have a Sony Er k700,
i quite fancy the W900, but i dont know when it's out, and it's a little bulky.

Anyone had a k700, liked it, changed to another brand and liked that more?

My natural reaction is to go with the W800 Mp3 phone, just to stay with Sony because i like their interface, but i'm not adverse to change!

Any thoughts folks???

Theres a new K800 and a k790 the 800 has a 3.2mp Autofocus camera that switches interface when in camera mode to something very similar to sony cybershot cameras. will probably also play Mp3's too, should be out by summer if your waiting

I had the k700, it broke, had a few issues with it like reseting, stalling, going crazygonuts by its self, my phone after that was a small nokia thing (replacement) didnt like it, switched to T-mobile and got given a Razr, liked it a lot, slim for my pocket, flip for comfort to hold to my ear and to squash on my shoulder. Not really any issues, once it scrolled down my phone book all the way by itself but thats all. Gf has the Slvr, like that also, same interface, very slim non-flip fone, might take it off her hands :D

Have you tried the mobile phone forum?

W900i is out on Vodafone right now My brother in law has one, it's lurrrvly

But I might wait for the W950i, looks awesome, only downside is that it doesn't have a camera, but it does have 4GB of solid state memory and is very slim

The W900i is very nice though, one of the best phones out there right now.

The Nokia N91 is out in April on Vodafone, and there is always the Samsung SGH-i300 on O2, but the SGH-i300 build isn't as nice as I thought it would be, I have the Samsung D600 and Sony Ericsson W800 right now, the D600 has awesome build, which is why I was so dissapointed with the SGH-i300.

I have the Sony Ericcson K750i, fantastic phone with a superb camera. There are places that'll upgrade the software to that of the W800i meaning you get all the feautures of the W800i(better MP3 player etc.) for a much cheaper price.

Orange are selling the K750i on PAYG for just £149.99 http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/h.../pay_as_you_go Bargain

the Samsung D600 is very good
I used to have a Sony Ericsson k750 - didn't like it, got scratched very quickly, annoying keys
Currently have a Motorola U6 "PEBL" - very nice, tactile, feels rugged, nice flip action (one handed slide and flip)
The Motorola V3 "RAZR" to me looks odd and not particularly ergonomic, if I had one I'd be fighting the temptation not snap it or stamp on it - there's a better 3G version, the V3X available on Vodafone and 3

I can't stand Nokias - kid's toys

Used to be on Orange everyday 50, until Orange f'd up and started to charge for 0800 numbers, and wouldn't offer me anything reasonable to stay with them, so currently have the "free" PEBL on 02 through onestopphoneshop (a carphone warehouse website) that averages out at £14.20 per month (7 Months Line Rental At £1.99 offer) for 200 x-network mins and 100 texts per month (400 and 200 for the first 3 months) and will probably switch network again once the 12month contract is up next Jan - there seem to be very good offers every January!

I agree re. V3i . It is not ergonomic at all - same with the V3x even though it is thicker. Plus they put the side keys in exactly the area you place your hand when speaking with the flip open .( I had the V3x for exactly 2 and half days before returning it. I am getting what is known to my friends now as ....... " waiting for the Nokia N80 syndrome" - wanting it but it's not available yet and so I am getting frustrated ! )
I thought I was the only one who had the desire to snap and V3 !!!!!!!!

D600 is a very good phone - agreed. Lots of useful features and it is damned quick.
