Which Phone?
Hi Guyz,
Its nearly that time to UPGRADE.
But the problem is to which phone. Currently I have a 6230 on orange, which I loved because of its usability but its getting old and its time to move on .
Ideally, I want to stay with orange because I think they have the best deals . T-mobile and O2 maybe . Three and Vodafone NO.
I don't really need a camera phone because I have a digi cam. I don't need a music player because I got one. I need a basic but a cool phone.
The choices:
NOKIA 6111 - because its new, nice and compact.
NOKIA N70 - I Think it's a bit expensive.
SE K750I - because its nice and simple or maybe more.
V3I - My brother already has it DAMN.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I can't comment for the SE or the Motorola as I don't favour them as I can't get used to their interfaces. I currently have an N70 and despite a few niggly bugs (which can be cured with a firmware upgrade) I think it's a great phone. I'm absolutely happy with mine. Given the choice of the N70 or the 6111 I would opt for the N70 purely because I adore the S60 (formerly known as Series 60) User Interface running over Symbian OS. The 6111 runs Series 40 which is Nokia's own OS and imho offers less flexibility and has less 3rd party apps written for it. Having said that... I voted for 'other' as the N70 has a 2MP camera and MP3 player both of which would be useless to you. If I were you I would take a look at the Nokia E60 which will be released in the near future or if you do decide you want an all singing all dancing phone then the N80 is big improvement over the N70.
Although, if you were very happy with the 6230 the 6111 might just be up your street. If you're not going to load your phone up with software this maybe the best solution for you... A new phone but essentially running the same OS as your current phone hence it will be instantly familiar to you.
S.

I have the SE K750i and I think it's the best overall phone out there in the market right now. It has a brilliant camera, play's mp3's and a fab interface. Thoroughly recommended!

its a bit of a difficult poll, because unless you have owned all phones its question its hard to give an unbiased opinion, i own the N70 and i think its a great phone, but i cant be impartial as i havnt owned all the other phones

let me put it another way, if you were to buy a phone from the list, which one will it be and why and how did you come to that conclusion .

My preference would be for the N70.
I love the flexibility of Symbian S60 and 3G makes browsing the web worthwhile. Sat nav is also a bonus.

I think that has put me off 6111 altogether
Now the question is which one out of N70 or K750i will it be?
Sorry guyz, its just I've been buying really crap phones in the past and I don't want to end up in the same position again.
