N70 downloadable content
Hi all
just got my Nokia N70 yesterday , great phone , so much to play with
i was wondering if anyone knew of any good web sites for downloading free symbian stuff(games/apps)

Cheers for that tunney , will defo have a look at the gameboy emulator and doom..... what is doom like on the N70 is it playble ?

Yeah, Doom works pretty well. If you know anyone else with a Nokia smartphone, you could even try multiplayer deathmatch over Bluetooth.

slightly off topic but here goes , i don't know if i have a dud battery but after my first full charge on the n70 it didn't even last a day before it died, then last night i fully charged it then used it for a couple of hours , transfered about 3 songs from my pc , afew pics then locked the keys and left it in my pocket , on train into work today and it has died , battery is completely flat ....... surley this can't be right can it ? is there any way to extent the battery life ??? otherwise i will be contacting orange for a replacement ...... how long is everyone elses battery life >????

I found that my battery was terrible at first, but steadily got better over the first half dozen or so charges.
Lasting less than a day sounds like a defective battery though.

I get about 3 days if it's always in stand-by. Usually 2 days with moderate useage though. My N70 is also on Orange, sounds like you have either a duff battery, charger or phone.

Cheers for the replies guys , i'm gonna charge the phone again when i get home and see how long the battery lasts with moderate usage , if by the morning it is dead i will defo be contacting orange . i got the phone online does anyone one know if i can go into my local orange store or do i have to phone them and get a courrier to send it back to them ?? also in the case of a faulty battery would orange just replace that or the entire phone ???

well i phoned orange last night to talk to them about my seemingly faulty battery and they are sending a courier over today to pick up the faulty phone and replace it with a new one  heres hoping the battery lasts longer than 12hours this time
