Advice on connection to internet via 3G card or bluetooth

I want to set up a connection between by Apple Powerbook laptop and the internet so that I can view emails and full screen web pages. At the moment I cannot find a 3G mobile card that is compatible with the Apple. Can anyone
advise me on an alternative solution. I have considered using a bluetooth link
to a standard Nokia 3G mobile but I have heard that this can be very slow
to load up internet pages. Has anyone out had any experience in this area ?
