Move PAYG Sim card to anothe phone - does it work...

Hello!

I am sure this is a basic question for those of you in the know.

About a year ago I puchased a PAYG phone from the virgin online store.

I am now tired of the phone and have been looking on ebay for some...

If I got something like this:
(Sony Ericsson T610 Virgin Pay as You Go)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sony-Ericsson-...QQcmdZViewItem

could I just put in my SIM card and away we go?

What if I bought something from another network provider that was PAYG?
What if I bought something from another provider that was an old contract phone?

In english basic help please lol

Cheers.

The only thing that would prevent you from doing this, is if the "new" phone is locked to a network other than Virgin.

So, provided you have a new Virgin phone, or a new "unlocked" or "SIM-free" phone, yes.
