I bought a Motorola V3 Sim Free and am using an Orange Sim Card. For some reason I do not receive notification when I have new voicemail (called Anwer Phone on Orange). The messages also do not appear if I go into Messages>Voicemail. I have set notification to on in Voicemail setup. Any thoughts anyone?

This might be a problem with the service provider. I use Virgin as my main provider and on a couple of occasions over the last three or four years the icon for both voicemail and texts has failed to appear when I've had messages waiting (V60, V600 and V3)

When I've phoned Virgin they've told me they need to "reset" something, to turn my phone off and then back on and "within 24 hours" all should be well. No idea what the technical bit is here, but on the two occasions I've done this it's worked.

This may or may not be what's up with yours, but it's worth a try. Don't get fobbed off with the standard reply that messages can take "up to 24 hours to get relayed during busy times..."
