W900i and vodaphone

Im thinking of geting this phone on voda, anybody know if it has limited functions because its from vodaphone ? if so can it be flashed ?

There's nothing restricted that i have come across (you can have your own ringtones, sms alerts etc) and it can also be flashed (you just download the software and flash via your computer with your phone hooked with supplied cable).

Love it so far (but its only acting as a stop gap until N80 arrives). Both video and audio quality on it are amazing. It also acts as a hard drive when attached to the computer so transferring the songs/videos are painfree.

Don't know about this phone specifically on VodaFone but be aware that Voda SE phones often have DRM issues with MP3s you put on the phone yourself. See the K750i thread for more info

No problems with this phone mate as i said in my previous post you can change virtually any aspect (mp3 ringtones, mp3 text alert, alarm tones, wallpapers etc) of the phone.

I have had previous mobiles (K700 and Sharp series) which were restricted but not restriction this phone.

nicke20, how cheap have you seen it?

I quite fancy this phone, but I don't think it is cheap at all

im not a heavy user and keep phones 3-4 years its £130 to buy and £16 month contract on voda
