PDA Neckband headphones 2.5mm

Hi,
Unsure which forum is best suited for my question so Im asking it in all 3
Ive got an MDA 3 for which I use for mp3 playing also but the earbuds quality which come with it are completely naff and I cant stand those things in my lugs for very long, I already have some Seinhessr neckband phones cant remember the model number which I used with my xda 2i, the SH are a 3.5mm connnection I used and adaptor from Maplins taking it down to 2.5mm on the MDA Im only getting sound through 1 ear so its not happy with it, there is not a fault as they still work fine on xda 2i but I need to sell it, and TBH the maplins adaptor is about 3" long so it looks a bit daft, so Im prepared to bite the bullet and get a new set so my requirements would be a set of neckband phones with a 2.5mm connection, budget around £30 mark.
Any advice appreciated

Pete

The problem with sound only coming through one ear on your current phones is due to the 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter you are using not being designed for the audio jack on the MDAIII (it's non standard)

www.expansys.co.uk sell a proper adapter for this device made by a company called pocketPC techs.

If you did manage to find some headphones with a 2.5mm jack (I doubt it though as they are all 3.5mm) you would still only get mono audio due to the proprietary audio out on the MDAIII.

Basically your only option is the adaptor above

Hey thanks dude this is the only reply so far but I think youve answered it perfectly, looks like one of those adaptor things with any other headphones, tbh
it looks much better than the maplins thing I have although a £10`er is a bit steep for what it is.

Thanks again
Pete
