Is the N90 Any Good?

Now that the N90 is out for sale and everywhere - what would you say about the Handset?

I know one thing, it's absolutely huge and weighs as much as a Vertu Ascent...

What's the best price you've seen? I've can get it for 470...

Are they joking that there is no Vibrate function?

Nokia seem to treat 'vibrate' as acceptable omission, see the 9300/9500 communicators.
I do wonder if it's to save battery life.
I'm finding my Nokia phones to have much reduced battery life compared to my old Ericsson T28/T39's.

There is a review of the N90 on the internet where the Sony 750 is shown to have much better colour reproduction on still photos. Then again another website raves about the N90's still pictures. It put me off a little so I'm also waiting to see if I can find some other reviews.

Expansys have some good vodaphone contract deals on the N90.

The K750 does take better still images, the N90 takes better video.

The lack of vibrating alert is due to ... wait for it .... to save the lens - this is official, straight from Nokia. Its a zeiss lens, on a phone. Its kept in a pocket, bag, somewhere that isn't particularly friendly to a camera. They haven't even put a lens cover on it to protect the lens, but they've gone and omitted vibrating alert.

The Nokia design department didn't think it through, did they?
