Bluetooth

I recently got a new phone with bluetooth on it and have been playing with it for a while. I was on the bus the other day and trying it out. I joined up with some people and we both entered the passcode. Then the other people requested acess to my files. i have tried to do this but I can't. Any help? I have a Sony Erickson W800i

I could be wrong about this but I don't think you can access files off anothers phone - ie search for files on another file and then 'download' them. Only experience I've had using Bluetooth is sending files to another phone.

Basically I've selected an image or MP3 file and clicked on 'more' and then sent the image via Bluetooth to whatever phone is in the vicinity. They then have to accept the incoming file.

(I'm using a K750i BTW)

That's all I've done too, but I kept getting messages saying "user has requested access to your files"

I know that the Motorola phones can't browse other peoples images, music files but with my Samsung D500 i can look at a list of other peoples images , sounds, and music files and then select which one i want to bluetooth over.

Regards,

Jonathan Cook.
