Recommendations for multi-handset cordless home phones

Firstly, apologees if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't find the right one.

As per title, I'm after multi-handset digital cordless phones. I can easily find some in argos or online, but I'd really like a recommendation, as I've found these sort of things hit & miss in the past.

I've had Binatone before, and not been impressed. Thought BT handsets were better. I'd like reasonable range. Ideally, I'd like them to have the number lookup capabilities of a mobile, but I'm not sure if that's availble. And I'd like to be able to call one phone from another.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Always found Panasonic or Philips to be great. BT's are usually cr*p.

Had endless probs with BT phones in the past.

Have had a set of Philips factory refurns that I got from Ebay for a year or so now wit no probs at all, they even have SMS with a T9 dictionary!

Which Phillips have you got?

I've been looking at some which? reviews, and the BT Diverse phones have done well, as have a couple of panasonics.

In the past we've (either me or my familly) had an old panasonic (that last years), a phillips (that didn't do well), Binatone (that had base problems) and BT (which is going well, but basic).

May need to take each model on it's own merit.

With the lack of reviews I've found on the web, I turned to which? Over the last couple of years, they've recommended your Phillips, along with a couple Pannys, and mostly BT Diverse models.

Well I've gone for a trio of BT Diverse 6210s. They had been returned, and are as good as new. They have all the functions, I'll just have to wait and see if they have the reliability.
