I looked at these. To me they appeared to be rebadged nokias in flashy cases! But thats only guessed from specs, haven't actually played with one in the flesh.

I am sure I saw this phone for free on a new £25 per month Orange contract with 60 minutes and 20 free texts too

That price must be sim free!

It's not bd - but over £3000?! The makers must jump for joy everytime one sells - the price of about fifteen top of the range phones! Even if I had the money, I'd feel ill buying it!

Vertu is a subsidiary of Nokia it's a bit like Toyota owning Lexus.

Some Vertus with solid platinum cases can be up to £30k

Way overpriced imho, even if you do get a real live personal assistant with the phone.

There gonna laugh as you walk down the street towards the shop..... i know if owned that shop i would!

Oh and then buy all the staff some beers

Would you really pay over three grand for a re-badged nokia????? When I looked at them about (as a serious potential buyer as well) I realised very quickly that they seemed like Nokias and not even the good ones!

Think im gonna stick with my MDAIII with its SatNav, movies, wifi, non-java games e.t.c. which was free from T-Mobile. +++3000gbp for less functionality!!!????!!!!

If you do buy it please let us know as it would be interesting to confirm that it really is a nokia ... oh and I'm sure I have a rebadged (painted silver, gold n black) coffee mug for sale, yours for a snip at 2500gbp!

Re: A Phone that is £3250.

Vertu has a shop in Selfridges and I looked at these models just out of curiosity. They seemed very ordinary.

Re: A Phone that is £3250.

its not the phone you pay for, its the concierge service that coems with it. each one has a direct call button to your own PA, thats why they cost so much.

Re: A Phone that is £3250.

I agree with the above. The phone doesn't look bad but just looks like another average phone, and a few months later when newer and better phones are released, you'll be left with an expensive piece of uselessness

Re: A Phone that is £3250.

Im sure also if your walking down the high street with a diamond-encrusted phone the chances of you having it very long are slim!
Even if the theives only sold the case thats still alot more than what they would get for nicking/selling 10 phones!

Re: A Phone that is £3250.

People who buy Vertu phones are doing so for the looks. Research has shown that they generally dont give two hoots about the functionality. I agree with most of u guys though, substance over style any day of the week and on a month of sundays.

I saw a guy buying a couple of the cheaper ones when I was in Selfridges. The sales guy had the biggest smile on his face.
