Windows for Mobile Phones

I am thinking of getting the T Mobile SDA, which runs Windows for Mobile phones. The main reason is I am wanting GPS.

I haven't read much about phones running this software, what are the main pros and cons of it?

Are they as easy to use as normal phones for funtionality such as texting and calling?
