T-mobile MDA Compact - high pitched sound

When I make a call with the MDA compact I'm getting a high pitched sound in the background.
its not eveyr loud and i can hear normally in the conversation but its really irritating.

anyone else know or have heard of this problem?

I should be getting a new one in exchange tomorrow. so we'll see.

but if its a common problem i'll just get a refund and get another phone

I have the MDA, and I've not had a single problem with it.

It's the first tiime I've heard of this problem on the MDA.

The Missus has a MDA and has not had any problems with it. Looks like you just got a duff one.
