I have recently got hold of the Samsung D500 and i have to say i am loving it. It has got a 1.3 megapixel camera, mp3 player and stacks of memory! Other phones i considered were the Samsung E720 and Sony Erikson S700i.

I would probably stick with samsung, the E720 is the exact same shape as the E710 but with better features, i have been looking at the D500 aswell which looks impressive so i might go for the D500 because i don't really want another flip phone

just had a look at the sony ericsson S700i which looks really good, 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3, video, and it has a bigger screen than the D500, is it a swivel phone?

Yeah the S7001 has a swivel screen which when rotated reveals all the numbers so you can make calls, enter calendar notes etc. All the phones mentioned have bluetooth as well. I don't know nif you have bluetooth on the e710. I have a friend who has the s700i and he seems to like it. It is quite bulky though and heavy that seems to be the only downside to the s700i.
