Upgrade or switch supplier?

I am with T-Mobile on a contract that has been running for 14 months now. So, I feel an upgrade is in order.

Am I right in thinking I will get a much better deal if I switch from T-Mobile to Orange or one of the others? Or will I get a good deal upgrading via T-Mobile?

As long as your happy with the network and your tariff I'd recommend you get a price on the phone you want from another network, then ring T-Mobile and tell them you want to cancel your contract. they'll beg you stay (they always do!) and ask you why you want to cancel.

Just tell them you've been offered whatever phone you want by another network for much cheaper and they always will beat the price to get you to stay

I Got an orginal £200 upgrade offer reduced to zero by doing this!
