Cancel T-Mobile Contract

I want to cancel my T-Mobile Mix-It contract which I have been on for 12 months (the minimum term) but don't really know how to go about doing so. Should I e-mail or phone them to notify them of my intentions and/or cancel my Direct Debit with my bank first?

Any advice on this matter would be appreciated!

Don't cancel the direct debit as you will only get a letter from TMobile asking why you have done it.

Just phone them from your mobile and tell them you want to give notice on your contract, this can be done on the 11th month of your contract or later. The notice is 30 days and after the 30 days you will get a final bill if any payments are due.

When you phone to cancel the contract they will probably offer you cut price handsets and half price line rental and so on if you stay with them, they can offer you this as they know they can make money back out of you.

If you want to stay with them keep pushing for a great deal like half price line rental, cheap handset, free texts etc and see how much you can get out of the otherwise cancel and move on to someone else

I myself have had 2 t mobile contract and would not go back to them due to poor signals in my area so I am now with orange who gave me £50 cashback for a brick of a very old phone I found and my contrcat is £30 a month andI get 500 free txts a month and 200 anytime minutes
