advice on which phone please...

Hope someone can help - I haven't hit the shops yet but any advice on which phone / supplier with the following criteria would be appreciated

must have -

tri-band
bluetooth

prefered -

Nokia

calling -

medium useage
'cheap' calls from Spain to UK

happy to pay for a decent handset, not fussed about camera or 3G.

where do I start on the high street ?

thats not really a lot to go on. have you got any more detilas about what you want?

btw if you want bluetooth, forget about the 6230 and other such nokia's because the bluetooth on them is, erm, less than good.

sorry its a bit sparse but the main concern is a deal which allows the lower calls from Spain to the UK and Bluetooth and Tri-band (for the USA).

Any help would be appreciated before I have to visit every shop in Milton Keynes shopping center !

I have Nokia power leads and compatible bluetooth headset so was planning to stick with them. My previous phone was the 6310, I would be happy to find a deal on that one.

I have found the best way to send and receive calls from Spain is to take your existing phone (if unlocked) and call into Carfore or mobile phone shop or even Telephonica shops, that sells Amena top up- pay as you go cards(from 15 euros)
Get the assistant to programme the phone for English.
You can receive calls from the UK without paying anything from 20p to 30p on a UK mobile and sending is about half the price.
Swap your card when back in the UK.

It's some time since I did it, but I forgot to add there is a connection charge of 30Euros, but this includes about 15 Euros credit.

My 8910i was tempramental as hell with bluetooth. Seemed to connect to my PC ok, but has nothing but problem with other phones. My Motorola V3 however is fine, and it has quad band which would be perfect for roaming abroad. The fact that it looks great is just an added bonus.
