Hi All
All these gadgets on new phones are all well and good, but they don't seem to do the battery life much good. Despite the decent figures the manufacturers quote, most of my reading online and speaking to friends indicates that those with colour screens and cameras etc need to charge their phones daily or every two days at most! That's just ridiculous, even my tiny Siemens flippy thing can manage 3 or 4 days and my old C45 could go over a week without a charge.
Are there any modern phones that will get close to a week? Thinking of SonyE K500i (as the K700 is known to have awful batt life), Nokia 6230, Samsung E800, that sort of thing.
Want to upgrade as my Siemens CL50 drives me mad, if only I could get some decent firmware for it to speed it up and fix the bugs I'd be happy. Not particularly bothered about having a camera, and I do like having a flip phone with dual screen but I'd happily go back to a normal shape. Any suggestions?
Willing to go on contract and wait a while if there's something good on the way or something that will come down to a decent price/free (Moto V3...?).
Cheers,
Ben
