T610 with bluetooth headset

I've tried 2 Sony E headsets and a new moto one on this phone.

The sound quality is dreadful on all of them. There is a sort od strobing effect and noise / screaching most of the time and the phone has to be fairly close to attempt anything near a decent call. People at the other end complain none stop.

Is this normal for this phone? It makes the use of bluetooth headsets pointless at the moment.

Another friend of mine has exactly the same problems.

I have the same problem with my Nokia 6230, and the Nokia HDW-2 Headset

It's bad to the point that I avoid using it where possible - I initially thought it may be an issue with the headset but the more I read, the more I begin to think that it is an inherent problem with Bluetooth itself

I hate the T610, mine's going the nanosecond my contract is up. However I don't have the probs you mention with my Plantronics Bluetooth headset.

The problem I get is that it doesn't always recognise it's attached and sometimes when you push the answer button on the headset nothing happens.....push it again and it answers and immediately hangs up.

We have 2 of these combinations and have the same symptoms on both.

Mark.

glad i'm not the only one with these problems.

i had a nokia 6310i befor ethe T610, didn't bother using a head set with that as I couldn't even use a normal bluetooth dongle to connect it to my PC!

I know other people using bluetooth who dont have these problems. Maybe it's something they fixed in the T630?

I have a SE HBH-65 bluetooth headset with my T610 and it works fine, the only thing I would say it's not that great when travelling in a car it seems to break up a bit.
