Break a contract inside 12 months?

I'm not very happy with the reliability of my 3 phone and wonder if anyone has managed to break the contract inside the 12 month period?

You would have to check the contract terms for specific performance warranties, and if your service fails a particular term.

You say the phone is unreliable, but this may be just an issue with the handset and not the contract to supply your service

Generally, the contract is quite tight and yours (or my) opinions on the service remain just that, opinons.

It may be worth a call to their CS (or even better, their Executive Office if its the same as Orange) to try and negotiate a way out

Phoned the exec office and they put me through to tech support in Glasgow, (40 staff in Glasgow and 440 in India by the way) who explained we need to establish if its a network issue or a handset one before setting a corse of action.

I have to take my phone to a 3 shop and put my sim in a different handset to find out if its the phone or the network.

I'll let you know but they certainly seem to be aware (without actually saying so) of issues with these phones.
