Help with X6 and music play list

Hello,

I have downloaded a compilation album to my PC in MP3 format and created subsequent folders for each CD in the album (CD1, CD2 and CD3). Each CD has 20 MP3 tracks in and each has included track listings 1- 20, this is the same for all 3 folders. When I drag and drop the 3 folders to my X6 (mass storage folder) it says it has copied 3 folders. When I remove the X6 from the PC and go to play the album, the X6 has created 1 folder with 60 tracks in, and the tracks are listed in track order, so the order goes 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3, which is a pain as the album is a dance music album and the tracks are supposed to mix into the next track. Why doesn't the X6 created 3 seprate folders as per the PC?

Failing an answer for the above does anybody know how to edit the track listing number field on my PC (running XP)?

thanks all

This means that the tags in the file are incorrect. Probably not ripped correctly. How did you 'download' them to your PC?

well i didn't pay for the album if that helps (p2p site), probably why it hasn't downloaded as i'd have liked. 2 previous albums didn't cause any problems. Is there any way i can amend the track numbers in windows xp? Thanks for your help,

you could amend the tags and filenames with an mp3 tag editor like mp3tag, free download from Mp3tag - der universelle Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)
