Advise on current contrct...

Right, i`m just over half way through my 18 month o2 contract paying £35 a month with a SE W995.

Ive had a contract with o2 for about 7/8 years now and changed to an 18 month contract from my old 12 month one with the Carphone Warehouse last June and got my current SE handset. However, for various reasons i want an Iphone 3gs. Does anyone know if the CPW will let me change or cancel my current deal to get an iphone.? I want to carry on paying £35 per month but dont mind changing to a 24 month contract or paying the £89 for the iphone their currently charging for that deal.

Any help much appreciated

Is your service provider Carphone Warehouse or O2? (it might have changed when you last upgraded as they have been transferring customers to O2 proper)
If its O2 then you can pay off the rest of your contract and then upgrade (you can only do this for iPhone or Pre). Depending on how much you spend each month you will be able to upgrade a few months early (without paying off the remainder). You will receive email notification of your priority level (Gold/Silver) after 12 months or so of your contract. Which will tell you how early you can upgrade.
If you are still with the Carphone Warehouse version then I'm not sure when you can upgrade.

Well for 6 years i was with o2 online but last june CPW said i could upgrade and change my contract through them so i did that. So does that mean i`m now with the CPW with an o2 contract or am i still with o2 online ?

I pay 35 pound a month line rental and i never pay anymore than that each month.

No, your service provider is O2.
If you only pay £35 per month, then you'll be able to upgrade 1 month early. So you need to decide whether a new handset is worth the expense of paying off your contract early.
Or you could sell your current handset and put it toward buying a SIMFREE or Pay as You Go iPhone. Then use your SIM in that. You won't get much for a W995, though.
