Both phones already have threads so this might get binned but i am very keen and finding out which will be better.

X10 has sonys own layer on Andriod called 'Mediascape' IIRC and HTC on the Desire has 'HTC Sence'.

Both have the 1ghz 'Snapdragon' cpu, not 100% of screen sizes at the mo. Will need ot have a quick google.

X10 has the better camera (with face tech) and looks nicer to me but im unsure about the 'Mediascape' bit. Its also about £70 more expensive i think.
X10 will also be Sony's first crack at releasing a Android phone where HTC has done multiple; Hero, N1 etc.

For me battery life will be a huge plus for me so which ever last longest will have a great advantage.

AHHH!!!!!

Why is it that you wait for something to be released after weeks of choosing what to get and finally deciding, then something else comes into the arena!

I finally decided on the X10, but now the Desire is here I don't know what to get.

I've loved my HTC Tytn II apart from one function, the lack of a flash. So I thought I'd go back to trusty SonyE, with their excellent mobile cameras.

But now the Desire has OLED (looks amazing) Android 2.1 (which I thought the X10 should also have) FM Radio and a flash!

have to agree, the x10 should really come with Android 2.1 but I read somewhere it will be upgradeable (can't find the link now).

I think I'll wait till the local shop has stock and have a play with them before making my mind up. although I do think the SE looks better.
