Quick Help sought: best data SIM for New York?

The wife is off to NY tomorrow for the weekend to visit friends and wants to be able to roam with a 3g dongle plugged into her MacBook. I have a cracked 3 dongle I can lend her but obviously she will need to get a PAYG sim over there to get connected without spending a fortune.

Can anyone recommend the best deal for three days in New York?

The wife's not at all techy so the less faff involved the better. If there's a data SIM she can buy for $30 for 30 Mb or something, that would be good.

For three days though, you would be better buying a roaming bundle in this country. For example an O2 contract customer can buy a bundle of 50 megabytes for £50.
