Windows app store?

I'm thinking of getting a windows mobile, probably the htc touch2.

I've heard about the windows app store, what I want to know is is it any good? Obviosuly it's not gnna be as good as apples app store but is it still decent enough?

They only opened it in October so apps are not in huge numbers at the moment but still some decent ones.
To be fair, most windows mobiles apps are available outside the marketplace, you just need to look for them. That should change with Windows Phone 7 since all apps will have to be purchased from the marketplace.

Ahh I see.

I have been looking at getting the htc touch2. I think that runs on windows 6.5, when windows 7 mobile is released are there software updates that download? Or does microsoft not offer this? And u hve to stick with 6.5 if I got thr touch2?
